What the ASIC does

ASIC regulates Australian financial services licensees and, since its 2021 product intervention order, applies leverage limits and conduct standards very close to the UK and EU model.

Protections for traders

• Client money held in segregated trust accounts
• Leverage capped at 1:30 for major FX pairs
• Negative balance protection for retail clients
• Standardised margin close-out at 50% of required margin
• External dispute resolution via AFCA
