How we rate brokers
Every score on BrokaBoy comes from the same five criteria, applied the same way to every broker. No broker can pay for a higher rating, a better position, or the removal of a criticism. Here is the whole system, written out.
1.Regulation & safety
Which authorities licence the entity you actually sign up with, the strictness tier of each licence, fund segregation and compensation cover.
2.Cost of trading
All-in cost - spread plus commission - rather than the advertised minimum, alongside swap charges and withdrawal fees.
3.Platforms & execution
Range and quality of platforms, order types, API access, and whether execution statistics are published at all.
4.Product range
Instruments, account types, minimum trade size and whether small accounts can be traded responsibly.
5.Accessibility & support
Minimum deposit, funding methods, onboarding friction, educational depth and support availability.
What we can and can't verify
Licence numbers, regulatory status and published fee schedules are checkable facts, and that is what the bulk of a score rests on. Live spreads, fill quality and withdrawal speed vary by account type, time of day and country, so we treat broker-published figures as claims rather than guarantees.
Trading conditions, fee notes and account-opening steps shown on this site are illustrative summaries intended to help you compare. Always confirm the current numbers on the broker's own website and in the legal documents for the specific entity you are onboarding with.
Affiliate disclosure
BrokaBoy is free to use. Some outbound links to brokers are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you open an account after clicking through. You never pay more because of it - the pricing you get is identical to going direct.
Commission does not affect rankings, scores or which brokers appear. Brokers we earn nothing from are listed and scored exactly the same way, and criticisms stay in the review whether or not there is a commercial relationship. If those two things ever come into conflict, the rating wins.
Trading CFDs and leveraged products carries a high risk of losing money rapidly. Nothing on this site is personal financial advice.
