FXTM minimum deposit at a glance
The smallest amount you can open a live FXTM account with is 30 USD or 30 EUR, on the Micro account. Every other account asks for more, up to 500 for Advantage. These figures come from FXTM's account comparison page as of October 2026 and apply to clients of Exinity Limited, the Mauritius company that serves most countries.
| Account | Minimum first deposit | Other currencies | Platform |
|---|---|---|---|
| Micro | 30 USD / 30 EUR | 110 AED (UAE) | MT4 |
| Rewards Plus | 100 USD / EUR / GBP | 350 AED, 137,000 NGN | MT4, MT5 |
| Rewards | 200 USD / EUR / GBP | 700 AED, 274,000 NGN | MT4, MT5 |
| Advantage | 500 USD / EUR / GBP | 1,800 AED, 685,000 NGN | MT4, MT5 |
| Advantage Stocks | 200 USD | — | MT5 |
FXTM's help centre also lists an Edge account at 50 USD or 68,500 NGN. It does not appear on the main comparison page, so it may be limited to certain regions. If you see it offered, ask support what conditions it carries.
A note on conflicting figures
FXTM's general deposits and withdrawals page says the minimum initial deposit is 100 USD. That clashes with the 30 USD Micro figure on the account page. Our reading is that the 100 USD figure is a general default and the account-specific numbers override it, but the amount the cashier asks for when you fund a particular account is the one that binds you.
What the minimum actually buys you
A minimum deposit is an entry ticket, not a sensible trading balance. Here is what each level allows if you follow a common rule of risking no more than 1% of the account per trade on EUR/USD, where 0.01 lot is worth about $0.10 per pip.
| Starting balance | 1% risk | Lot size with a 20-pip stop | Comment |
|---|---|---|---|
| $30 (Micro, in cents) | $0.30 | Below the smallest standard micro lot; cent-account sizing needed | Practice-scale only |
| $100 (Rewards Plus) | $1.00 | 0.005 lot, so 0.01 lot means 2% risk | Tight; one losing streak hurts |
| $200 (Rewards) | $2.00 | 0.01 lot | Workable with discipline |
| $500 (Advantage) | $5.00 | 0.025 lot | Room to size properly |
Check the arithmetic with any row: $2.00 of risk divided by 20 pips is $0.10 per pip, which is 0.01 lot on EUR/USD. Use our position size calculator with your own stop distance.

Formula: lots = (balance × risk %) ÷ (stop-loss in pips × pip value per lot)
You enter all prices and exchange rates yourself; nothing is fetched live. Results are estimates and exclude broker-specific charges.
The lesson: the $30 and $100 tiers are fine for learning live execution with real money, but they leave almost no room for error. FXTM allows leverage of up to 1:1000 on Micro and up to 1:5000 on Rewards accounts, which means a tiny balance can open positions that wipe it out in a few pips. High leverage does not make a small account safer; it makes it faster to lose.
