How to Withdraw from FXTM: Methods, Fees and Processing Time
By BrokaBoy Research Team · Reviewed 14 October 2026 · Updated 14 October 2026 · 4 min read
To withdraw from FXTM, open Funds in the app or client area, pick the method you deposited with, enter the amount and confirm. FXTM says it releases funds within 24 business hours; after that, e-wallets are instant, bank wires take about one business day and cards three to five business days. Fees are $3 for cards, $30 for bank wire, and nothing for Skrill, Neteller or crypto (October 2026).
FXTM processes withdrawal requests within 24 business hours, then the payment provider takes over.
Published fees: Skrill/Neteller free, crypto free, cards $3/€3/£3, bank wire $30.
Card and crypto deposits must be returned to the same source first; profits can then go by any method.
Withdrawing without trading since your last deposit can cost 3% of the amount.
Keep enough free margin: requests are rejected if open positions need the money.
How an FXTM withdrawal works
An FXTM withdrawal has two stages. First FXTM checks and releases the request, which it says takes up to 24 business hours. Then your payment provider moves the money, which can be instant or take several days depending on the method. Most delays come from the rules around which method you are allowed to use, not from the processing itself, so it pays to understand those rules before you request money back.
Everything below applies to Exinity Limited, the company that serves most FXTM clients, and reflects FXTM's help centre in October 2026. Kenyan clients of Exinity Capital East Africa follow different back-office hours, noted further down.
Step by step: withdrawing in the FXTM app or client area
Log in to the FXTM app or the web client area with your email and password.
Open Funds and switch to the Withdraw tab.
Choose the account you are withdrawing from and check its free margin if you have open trades.
Pick the method. If you deposited by card or crypto, the original card or wallet will be required first (see the closed-loop rule below).
Enter the amount and review the fee shown on screen.
Confirm. Track progress under Funds, then Transaction History; the status moves from Processing to Withdrawal Success.
Your profile must be fully verified with proof of identity and proof of address before a withdrawal can go through. If FXTM asks for an updated document, upload it quickly; it is the most common cause of a slow first withdrawal.

FXTM's back office handles transfers from 06:00 to 20:00 Monday to Friday and from 09:00 to 18:00 on Sunday, server time (GMT+2, or GMT+3 in summer). For Kenya the hours are 24 hours on weekdays, 09:00 to 14:00 on Saturday and 10:00 to 18:00 GMT on Sunday.
Realistic total: a Skrill withdrawal requested on a Tuesday morning can land the same day; a card withdrawal requested on Friday evening may not reach your statement until the following Thursday or Friday.
Fees: a worked example
Suppose you deposited $200 by card, traded, and your balance is now $350. You want everything out.
First, $200 goes back to your card (closed loop). FXTM charges $3, so $197 arrives.
The remaining $150 profit can go to Skrill, free of FXTM charges, so $150 arrives.
Total received: $347, compared with $320 if you had sent the whole $350 by bank wire ($350 minus $30).
Now the trap. If you deposit $500 and change your mind before placing any trade, FXTM may charge 3% on withdrawal: $15. Placing a trade first avoids that fee, but do not open a position just to dodge a fee unless you understand the risk; a small loss can exceed $15 too.
The closed-loop rule
FXTM, like most regulated brokers, sends money back the way it came. This is an anti-money-laundering requirement, explained in our guide to deposits and withdrawals.
Card deposits must be refunded to the same card, up to the amount deposited.
Crypto deposits must go back to the same wallet address, up to the amount deposited from it.
Profits above the amount deposited can then be withdrawn by any available method.
If the original method is no longer available, for example an expired card, contact live chat; FXTM can offer an alternative.
Plan your deposit method with the exit in mind. If you prefer free withdrawals, depositing by an e-wallet that FXTM supports in your country is usually the cleaner route. See our FXTM deposit methods guide.
Why FXTM withdrawals get rejected
FXTM names three common reasons:
Not enough free margin. Open positions need margin. If the withdrawal would leave too little when it is processed, it is rejected. Close or reduce trades, or ask for less. Our glossary explains free margin.
Wrong method. You chose a different method while a card or crypto deposit still had to be returned.
Fee larger than the amount. Small withdrawals by wire, for example, can fail because the $30 fee exceeds the request.
Other causes we see across brokers: name mismatch between your FXTM profile and the receiving account, outdated documents, and third-party accounts. FXTM does not pay out to anyone other than the account holder.
Other fees to keep in mind
Inactivity fee: after three months without trading, 10 USD, EUR or GBP a month is charged until you trade again or the balance is gone. Withdraw unused funds before that happens.
Currency conversion: if your withdrawal currency differs from your account currency, FXTM applies its conversion rate.
Your bank's charges: intermediary banks on international wires can deduct their own fees.
CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Most retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. Consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Full risk disclosure.
Our checklist before you withdraw
Profile verified, with an address document under three months old.
At least one trade placed since your last deposit.
Original card or crypto deposit returned first.
Enough free margin left for any open trades.
Amount comfortably above the method's fee.
If a withdrawal is still late after the stated time, FXTM asks you to contact support with the transaction ID, amount, date and a screenshot. Read is FXTM legit for which company holds your funds, and check the minimum deposit before you fund again.
Frequently asked questions
How long does an FXTM withdrawal take?
FXTM says it releases withdrawals within 24 business hours of your request. After that, it lists e-wallets as instant, bank wire as one business day and cards as three to five business days. Local payment methods vary by country. Weekends and public holidays do not count as business days, so a Friday evening request can take noticeably longer.
Does FXTM charge withdrawal fees?
Yes, for some methods. FXTM's help centre lists Skrill and Neteller as free, crypto as free, cards at 3 USD, EUR or GBP, and bank wire at 30 USD. Separately, a 3% fee applies if you have not placed a trade since your last deposit. Your own bank or wallet may also charge, and currency conversion can cost extra.
Why was my FXTM withdrawal rejected?
FXTM gives three common reasons: you did not have enough free margin because positions were open, you chose a different method from the one you deposited with by card or crypto, or the payment system's fee was larger than the amount requested. Fix the cause and submit again; contact live chat if the reason is unclear.
Can I withdraw to a different method than I deposited with?
Only after the original deposit has gone back to its source. FXTM runs a closed-loop policy: card and crypto deposits must be returned to the same card or wallet address, up to the amount deposited. Once that is done, profits can be withdrawn by any available method. If your card has expired, support can offer alternatives.
Can I withdraw from FXTM with open trades?
Yes, as long as you keep enough free margin to support the open positions after the money leaves. If the withdrawal would leave too little margin when FXTM processes it, the request is rejected. Withdrawing during open trades also raises your margin level risk, so check your free margin and consider a smaller amount.
