How JustMarkets withdrawals work, in one paragraph

You withdraw from the Personal Area (Funds → Withdrawal) or the JustMarkets Trading App. Every request is reviewed by the Finance Department and an anti-money-laundering check, which JustMarkets says runs 24/7 and usually takes 1–2 hours, with a maximum of two bank days. After that, e-wallets are typically instant, local bank transfers take 1–2 bank days and Visa/Mastercard payouts take 3–6 bank days. JustMarkets says it charges no withdrawal fee itself. The rule that trips most people up: money must go back to the method you deposited with, up to the amount you deposited, and only profit can go elsewhere.

The withdrawal timeline, stage by stage

JustMarkets shows five statuses in your transaction history. Knowing what each one means tells you where a delay sits.

StatusWhat is happeningWho you're waiting on
PendingRequest created and queuedJustMarkets
ValidationAML review of the requestJustMarkets compliance
ProcessingFinance Department checks and sends the paymentJustMarkets finance
Sent to Payment SystemJustMarkets has paid outYour bank, card issuer or wallet
CompletedThe payment system confirms receiptDone

Two other outcomes exist. Partially Completed means the payout was split into several transactions and only some have landed; it updates automatically. Cancelled/Rejected comes with a "Details" button that gives the reason.

JustMarkets' marketing says most transactions are processed "within one minute", while its Help Center gives 1–2 hours for its own processing and up to two bank days at most. Plan around the Help Center figures.

How long each method takes to reach you

These are the times JustMarkets publishes for the stage after it has processed your request (checked October 2026):

Method typeTime to arrive after "Sent to Payment System"Notes
E-walletsInstantUsually the fastest route overall
Local bank transfer / local methods1–2 bank daysIncludes methods like South Africa local EFT, FPX and VietQR where offered
Visa / Mastercard (payout)3–6 bank daysShows as a new incoming credit
Visa / Mastercard (refund)Up to 7 business daysUsed when your bank limits payouts; shows as a reversal

Weekends and public holidays don't count as bank days. A card withdrawal requested on Friday evening can easily take until the following Thursday or Friday. Methods differ by country, so the list in your Personal Area is the one that counts. See JustMarkets deposit methods.

Step by step: making a withdrawal

  1. Close or reduce open trades if you need the margin. You can only withdraw what's free in the account; check free margin in MetaTrader before you request.
  2. Log in to the Personal Area and open Funds → Withdrawal.
  3. Choose the trading account to withdraw from.
  4. Pick a method. JustMarkets marks recommended methods that keep you within its AML policy; use them.
  5. Enter the payment details and the amount, then click Withdrawal.
  6. Enter the one-time password. JustMarkets applies OTP confirmation to all withdrawals.
  7. Track the status under Transaction History. You'll get an email once it's completed.

In the app, the flow is the same: tap Withdraw, choose the account, method and amount, and confirm.

The same-method rule, with a worked example

JustMarkets' AML policy says funds must be withdrawn via the same method they came in, up to the amount deposited, and in proportion when you used several methods. Profit can then go to any available method.

JustMarkets' own example works like this. You deposit $28 by Visa and $112 by STICPAY, then make $30 profit, for a balance of $170.

PortionAmountMust go to
Card deposit$28The same Visa/Mastercard
E-wallet deposit$112The same STICPAY wallet
Profit$30Any method you choose
Total$170

What if you lost money? Say you deposited $100 by card and your balance is now $60. The whole $60 is still deposit money, so all of it goes back to the card. Many "rejected withdrawal" complaints come from asking for a bank transfer here instead.

Withdrawing before you're fully verified

JustMarkets lets you withdraw before full verification, but with limits:

  • Not every method is available to unverified clients.
  • Total deposits are capped at $2,000 until your ID is approved ($10,000 after ID; no cap after ID plus proof of address).
  • You have 30 days after your first deposit to complete verification. After that, you can't open new positions or deposit until you do.
  • Withdrawals stay possible for 150 days after your first deposit.

Verification itself can take up to one working day. Doing it before your first deposit removes the most common cause of delays. Our how to open a JustMarkets account guide lists the documents.

Why withdrawals get delayed or rejected

From JustMarkets' Help Center and the complaint threads we reviewed, these are the usual causes:

  • Third-party payment details. Deposits from a relative's card or wallet are refunded to the original source, not to you.
  • Wrong method. Requesting deposit money to a method you didn't deposit with.
  • Expired card. If the card you deposited with has expired, contact support for an alternative route before requesting.
  • Name mismatch. The name on the receiving account must match your verified profile.
  • Source-of-funds request. JustMarkets may ask where your money came from, especially on larger amounts. Answer quickly with bank statements or payslips.
  • Weekend timing. The Finance Department works 24/7, but banks don't.

If a withdrawal is stuck for more than two bank days at "Processing", open a ticket in the Support Hub and keep the transaction ID. For card payouts, your bank can trace the payment once it's been sent. If you're stuck for weeks, our guide on what to do when a broker won't let you withdraw covers escalation steps, including complaints to the regulator of your entity.

What we'd do

Make a small test withdrawal (for example $20) after your first few trades, using an e-wallet or local method if one is offered in your country. It confirms your verification, payment details and the timing in your region before larger sums are involved. Keep using one deposit method where possible. It keeps the same-method maths simple and avoids split payouts.

CFDs are complex instruments and come with a high risk of losing money rapidly due to leverage. Most retail investor accounts lose money when trading CFDs. Consider whether you understand how CFDs work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money. Full risk disclosure.

Quick checklist

  • Account fully verified (ID and proof of residence)
  • Free margin covers the amount
  • Withdrawing deposit money to the original method
  • Payment account in your own name
  • Request made early in the week for card or bank routes

Frequently asked questions

How long does a JustMarkets withdrawal take?

JustMarkets says its Finance Department processes withdrawals 24/7, usually within 1-2 hours and at most within two bank days. After that, e-wallet withdrawals arrive instantly, local bank transfers take 1-2 bank days and Visa or Mastercard payouts take 3-6 bank days. Card refunds can take up to seven business days.

Does JustMarkets charge withdrawal fees?

JustMarkets states that it does not charge fees on deposits or withdrawals. Your bank, e-wallet or crypto network may charge its own fees, and you may pay a currency conversion cost if the payout currency differs from your account currency. Check the withdrawal screen, which shows the amount you will receive.

Can I withdraw profits to a different method?

Yes, but only the profit. JustMarkets' AML policy requires the amount you deposited to go back to the same method, in proportion if you used several. Anything above your total deposits counts as profit and can be sent to any method available to you. If your balance is below what you deposited, all of it goes to the original methods.

Why was my JustMarkets withdrawal rejected?

Common reasons are a withdrawal to a method you did not deposit with, payment details in another person's name, an expired card, incomplete verification or a pending source-of-funds request. Open the Details button on the rejected transaction to see the reason, fix it and submit again, or contact support through the Support Hub.

Can I withdraw from JustMarkets without verification?

Yes, with limits. JustMarkets allows withdrawals before full verification, but some methods are unavailable and deposits are capped at $2,000. You must complete verification within 30 days of your first deposit or you cannot open new positions, and withdrawals remain available for 150 days after the first deposit.
